What Mod Packs are Used in Season 4?

Nerdcraft will not have or consider any mod packs except the Simple Voice Chat mod.

When does Season 4 start?

Season 4 starts on December 22, 2023. We do not have an exact time chosen yet.

What is voting? Why does it matter?

Nerdcraft is mostly a democracy. Any new features, data packs, or policies will be voted on in the #polls channel in the Discord Server. Majority vote wins. Any polls or features that have to be voted or cannot be put to a vote will have transparent reasoning behind the decision.

Is it free to play on the Nerdcraft Server?

The Nerdcraft server is free-to-play. This means the owners are paying out of pocket though, so donations are absolutely accepted--but NEVER required!

If you would like to donate to the Nerdcraft server, reach out to Heth directly for options (if you don't have her discord, email her at basicbadwitch@gmail.com). Donations at this time do not have an official process.

Will Nerds have to pay in the future?

Not if Heth can help it! We reserve the right to change it, but let it be known it would take WORLD SHATTERING EVENTS (like Heth losing ability to work at all) to make Nerdcraft cost money to play.

How long will the server be running?

Seasons last 12 months (or more depending on votes).

Unless WORLD SHATTERING EVENTS occur (like Heth poofing into nothing), the Nerdcraft server will be available as long as there's at least 3 active players per season.

How long before I'm considered inactive?

You have 90 days of inactivity before you're switched to the inactive role.

We encourage mental health breaks from the server. Feeling burnt out? Take a month or two off with ZERO concequence.

What happens when I go inactive?

Your role in discord will switch to "Inactive", you will be removed from the allowlist, and you will not be able to see most discord channels.

You do NOT have to reapply to join again. Simply message Heth and within a day or two you'll have access again.

Why did you create the server?

Heth was bored. Heth plays minecraft. Heth has friends. Heth wants to be not bored with friends, in minecraft. There was no special reason.
